Drangsnes Hot Pots

Las pozas termales de Drangsnes se encuentran justo en la orilla, en medio del pueblo, en la costa de Strandir en los Fiordos del Oeste de Islandia. Se establecieron en 1997 después de que una perforación diera con un manantial caliente, y los vecinos construyeron tres pequeñas pozas con distintas temperaturas, de fresca a caliente. Son gratuitas todo el año, con donaciones aceptadas para su mantenimiento, y ofrecen vistas al fiordo hacia la isla de Grímsey mientras el océano contiguo permanece frío.

The Drangsnes hot pots sit right along the shoreline in the middle of the village on Iceland's Strandir coast in the Westfjords. They were established in 1997 after a drilling operation struck a heated spring, and local residents built three small pools at varying temperatures, from cool to hot. The pots are free to use year-round, with donations accepted for upkeep, and offer views across the fjord toward Grímsey island while the adjacent ocean stays cold.

ドラングスネスの温泉ポットは、アイスランド西部フィヨルド地方ストランディルの海岸、村の中心部の海沿いにあります。1997年の掘削作業で温泉が見つかったことをきっかけに設立され、地元住民が温度の異なる3つの小さなプール(ぬるいものから熱いものまで)を建設しました。年間を通じて無料で利用でき、維持費の寄付を受け付けています。隣接する海は冷たいままですが、グリームセイ島方面のフィヨルドの眺めを楽しめます。
