Hot Water Cascade

El Hot Water Cascade es una exhibición termal natural en el Parque Nacional Hot Springs en Arkansas donde el agua geotérmica a unos 62°C fluye libremente por una cara de roca cubierta de musgo junto al Grand Promenade del parque. La cascada ha sido un hito desde el desarrollo de Bathhouse Row en el siglo XIX.

The Hot Water Cascade is a natural thermal display at Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas where geothermal spring water at around 62°C flows freely down a moss-covered rock face alongside the park's Grand Promenade. The cascade has been a landmark since the development of Bathhouse Row in the 19th century. The thermal water creates distinctive mineral deposits on the rock face and supports heat-tolerant algae and microorganisms that color the cascade in shades of orange and green. It is one of the most visible and accessible of Hot Springs' natural geothermal displays.
