Laguna Larga Hot Springs

Laguna Larga se encuentra dentro de Los Azufres, un campo volcánico de gran altitud en la Sierra Mil Cumbres que también alimenta una de las plantas geotérmicas más grandes de México. El lago y las pozas a su alrededor se nutren de agua termal natural rica en minerales que alcanza cerca de 40°C, rodeadas de más de 100 hectáreas de bosque de pino y oyamel a casi 2,800 metros de altitud. Un sencillo complejo turístico rústico ofrece cabañas, área de acampar, restaurante y paseos en lancha por el lago, además de senderos por un bosque salpicado de fumarolas -- una alternativa más tranquila y natural frente a los balnearios termales más desarrollados de Michoacán.

Laguna Larga sits within Los Azufres, a high-altitude volcanic field in the Sierra Mil Cumbres that also powers one of Mexico's largest geothermal power plants. The lake and its surrounding pools are fed by natural mineral-rich thermal water reaching around 40°C, set among more than 100 hectares of pine and oyamel forest at nearly 2,800 meters elevation. A simple rustic tourist complex offers cabins, camping, a restaurant, and boat rentals on the lake, alongside trails through a forest dotted with fumaroles -- a quieter, back-to-nature counterpart to Michoacán's more developed thermal resorts.

ラグーナ・ラルガは、メキシコ最大級の地熱発電所にも電力を供給しているシエラ・ミル・クンブレスの高地火山地帯、ロス・アスフレス内に位置する。湖とその周辺の泉は摂氏40度前後に達する天然のミネラル豊富な温水によって満たされており、標高約2,800メートルの地に100ヘクタール以上の松とモミの森が広がる。素朴な観光施設ではコテージやキャンプ場、レストラン、湖でのボート遊びが楽しめるほか、噴気孔が点在する森の中にはハイキングコースもあり、ミチョアカン州のより整備された温泉リゾートとは対照的な、静かで自然に近い体験ができる。
