Manshausen Island

Manshausen es una pequeña isla en el archipiélago de Steigen de Nordland, aproximadamente 120 kilómetros al norte del Círculo Ártico. Las puertas de la sauna se abren sobre el agua: los bañistas se calientan, luego salen directamente al fiordo, con temperaturas que rondan los 10°C durante todo el año. En verano, el sol de medianoche ilumina la sauna con una luz extraordinaria.

Manshausen is a tiny island in the Steigen archipelago of Nordland county, approximately 120 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. A derelict 19th-century fishing station on the island was restored from 2009 onward into a small collection of sea cabins and a main house, with a dock sauna positioned directly over the fjord. The sauna doors open onto the water: bathers heat, then step from the door directly into the fjord — temperatures that hover around 10°C year-round in these Arctic waters. In summer, the midnight sun fills the sauna with extraordinary light; in winter, the northern lights are visible from the outdoor deck. The surrounding archipelago is one of the most spectacular sea kayaking environments in Norway.

Manshausen Islandはノルウェー・Steigen Archipelago, Nordlandに位置するサウナ。源泉温度は80℃の豊かな温泉水が湧き出る。泉水はアルカリ性（pH約7.8）の泉質、北欧のシラカバ・北極圏フィヨルドの水を豊富に含む、総溶解固形物28 mg/Lが特徴だ。2016年創業。サウナ浴・北極圏の水風呂・白夜のウェルネスなど多様な温浴療法が行われる。施設では桟橋サウナ・フィヨルドの水風呂・蒸気などが体験できる。
