QC Terme Bagni Vecchi (Bormio)

QC Terme Bagni Vecchi se encuentra a unos 1.420 metros de altitud sobre Bormio, en la carretera del paso del Stelvio, y está en uso desde el siglo I a.C. QC Terme Bagni Vecchi sits at about 1,420 metres altitude above Bormio, on the Stelvio Pass road, and has been in use since the 1st century BC. The baths were mentioned by Pliny the Elder, and legend holds Leonardo da Vinci visited them. Fed by nine natural springs bearing sulfur bacteria and natural mud, the complex includes distinct historic sections known as the Roman Baths, Medieval Baths, Imperial Baths and Archduchess' Baths, along with the San Martino sweat grotto, a natural sauna cave unique in the Alps.
