Rogner Bad Blumau

Rogner Bad Blumau se construye alrededor del manantial termal Vulkania, que llega a la superficie a aproximadamente 110°C desde una profundidad de unos 2.800-3.000 metros, con la mayor mineralización de cualquier manantial de la región 'Thermenland' de Estiria: un contenido natural de sal de unos 17,6 g/L que permite a los bañistas flotar casi como en el mar. Rogner Bad Blumau is built around the Vulkania thermal spring, which reaches the surface at approximately 110°C from a depth of around 2,800-3,000 meters, carrying the highest mineralization of any spring in Styria's 'Thermenland' region — a natural salt content of about 17.6 g/L that lets bathers float much as they would in the sea. A second, gentler spring, Melchior, rises from 970 meters at 36°C. The resort itself, designed by Austrian artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser with undulating rooflines, grass-covered roofs and irregular windows, opened in 1997 and has become one of Austria's most photographed thermal spa buildings.
