Kaike Onsen

Kaike Onsen fue descubierto a principios del siglo XX, cuando un pescador notó burbujas de agua termal que subían desde el fondo marino cerca de la bahía de Miho; posteriormente, un promotor inmobiliario local lo convirtió en un resort a principios del siglo XX, y en 1925 se inauguró una línea ferroviaria que conectaba Yonago y Kaike. Cuenta con el mayor volumen de agua termal de cualquier resort de la prefectura de Tottori, con agua de cloruro de sodio y calcio a 63-83°C que fluye desde 19 fuentes a un caudal combinado de unos 4,456.5 litros por minuto. El manantial se usa tradicionalmente para tratar neuralgias, reumatismo y afecciones de la piel.

Kaike Onsen was discovered in the early 1900s after a fisherman noticed hot spring bubbles rising from the ocean floor near Miho Bay; a local land developer subsequently built it into a resort in the early 20th century, and a rail line linking Yonago and Kaike opened in 1925. It draws the largest volume of hot spring water of any resort in Tottori Prefecture, with sodium-calcium chloride water at 63-83°C flowing from 19 sources at a combined rate of about 4,456.5 liters per minute. The spring is traditionally used to treat neuralgia, rheumatism, and skin conditions.

皆生温泉は1900年代初頭、漁師が美保湾付近の海底から湧き上がる温泉の泡に気づいたことがきっかけで発見され、その後地元の開発業者によって20世紀初頭にリゾートとして開発されました。1925年には米子と皆生を結ぶ鉄道が開通しました。鳥取県内の温泉地で最大の湧出量を誇り、19の源泉から63~83℃のナトリウム・カルシウム塩化物泉が毎分約4,456.5リットル湧出しています。この湯は伝統的に神経痛やリウマチ、皮膚疾患の治療に用いられてきました。
