Nokalakevi Sulphur Waters

Las aguas sulfurosas de Nokalakevi brotan junto a la antigua fortaleza y reserva-museo de Nokalakevi (Archaeopolis), en el municipio de Senaki, región de Samegrelo, al oeste de Georgia, a aproximadamente una hora en coche de Kutaisi. El agua mineral caliente brota del suelo y cae en cascada sobre formaciones de travertino pálido, creando una cascada humeante donde se mezcla con las frías aguas del río Tekhuri —los visitantes pueden elegir su punto de baño a lo largo de este gradiente para encontrar una temperatura cómoda, siendo la propia fuente lo bastante caliente, según se dice, como para hervir un huevo—. El agua contiene sulfuro de hidrógeno, lo que le otorga una reputación terapéutica particular. Se trata de un lugar natural, gratuito y sin desarrollar, sin instalaciones, junto a uno de los yacimientos arqueológicos más importantes de Georgia.

Nokalakevi Sulphur Waters emerge next to the ancient Nokalakevi (Archaeopolis) fortress and museum-reserve in the Senaki municipality of Samegrelo, western Georgia, roughly an hour's drive from Kutaisi. The hot mineral water rises from the ground and cascades over pale travertine formations, forming a steaming waterfall where it mixes with the cold Tekhuri River below — visitors can choose their bathing spot along this gradient to find a comfortable temperature, with the source itself reportedly hot enough to boil an egg. The water carries hydrogen sulfide, giving it a distinct therapeutic reputation. This remains a free, undeveloped natural site with no facilities, set against the backdrop of one of Georgia's most significant archaeological sites.

ノカラケヴィ硫黄泉は、西ジョージアのサメグレロ地方セナキ市にある古代ノカラケヴィ(アルケオポリス)要塞・博物館保護区のそばに湧出しています。クタイシから車で約1時間の場所にあります。熱いミネラル水が地中から湧き出し、淡色の石灰華層の上を流れ落ちて湯気の立つ滝となり、下の冷たいテフリ川と混ざり合います。訪問者はこの温度勾配に沿って好みの入浴場所を選ぶことができ、源泉自体は卵をゆでられるほど熱いとも言われています。この水は硫化水素を含み、独特の治療効果があるとされています。ここは無料で未開発の自然のままの場所であり、施設は一切なく、ジョージア屈指の重要な考古学遺跡を背景にしています。
