Terme Dolenjske Toplice

Dolenjske Toplice se asienta sobre un sistema de fallas tectónicas en el sureste de Eslovenia, en la región de Dolenjska, donde el agua subterránea penetra profundamente en la corteza, se calienta de forma natural y regresa a la superficie a unos 36°C con un caudal de aproximadamente 30 litros por segundo. Dolenjske Toplice sits over a system of tectonic faults in southeastern Slovenia's Dolenjska region, where groundwater penetrates deep into the crust, heats naturally, and returns to the surface at about 36°C with a flow of roughly 30 liters per second. The lightly mineralized, calcium-magnesium bicarbonate water has been valued for its healing properties for centuries, with the first formal bath house built in 1658 under the Counts of Auersperg. Today the Terme Krka group operates the resort's Balnea and Vital wellness centers, drawing on the same natural spring for pools, balneotherapy, and rehabilitation programs.
