Aguas Termales de Urmiri

Los manantiales termales de Urmiri surgen a casi 3.800 metros sobre el nivel del mar en las accidentadas tierras altas del Departamento de Potosí, uno de los destinos balnearios más altos de Sudamérica. Las aguas emergen cálidas y mineralizadas de fuentes geotérmicas conectadas al arco volcánico de los Andes. Las comunidades indígenas del altiplano han utilizado estos manantiales para el baño y en contextos ceremoniales mucho antes de la llegada de los colonizadores europeos.

The thermal springs of Urmiri rise at nearly 3,800 metres above sea level in the rugged highlands of the Potosí Department, one of the highest spa destinations in South America. The waters emerge warm and mineralised from geothermal sources connected to the volcanic arc of the Andes. Indigenous communities of the altiplano have traditionally used these springs for bathing and in ceremonial contexts long before the arrival of European colonists. Today a modest resort operates here, drawing visitors from Potosí who seek the unusual combination of high-altitude landscape and thermal immersion.

Aguas Termales de Urmiriはボリビア・Potosí Departmentに位置する硫黄泉・重炭酸泉。源泉温度は38℃、標高3800mの地に湧出する。泉水は中性に近い（pH約7.1）の泉質、炭酸水素塩泉・カルシウム泉を豊富に含む、総溶解固形物1100 mg/Lが特徴だ。温浴療法・リラクゼーションなど多様な温浴療法が行われる。施設では入浴などが体験できる。
