De Leon Springs State Park

De Leon Springs fue visitado por exploradores españoles y más tarde asociado a la leyenda de la Fuente de la Juventud. Hoy el parque es conocido por dos cosas: su área de natación en el manantial, y el Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant, un restaurante singular donde los comensales cocinan sus propias tortitas americanas en planchas integradas en las mesas. La combinación de una baño en manantial natural y un brunch de tortitas artesanales hace de este uno de los destinos de manantial más singulares de Florida. El parque también ofrece kayak y paddle.

De Leon Springs was visited by Spanish explorers and later associated with the legend of the Fountain of Youth — the spring's clear, constant waters inspired centuries of mythologizing. Today the park is known for two things: its spring swimming area, and the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant, a unique on-site restaurant where diners cook their own pancakes on griddles built into the tables, using organic stone-ground flour milled on the premises. The combination of a natural spring swim and a DIY pancake brunch makes it one of Florida's most distinctive spring experiences. The park also offers kayaking and paddleboarding.
