Finca El Paraíso Hot Spring Waterfall

Finca El Paraíso es una de las atracciones naturales más inusuales y espectaculares de Guatemala: una cascada termal caliente a unos 55°C que cae desde un acantilado hacia las aguas frías de una piscina selvática al borde del Lago de Izabal, el lago más grande de América Central. El resultado es un efecto de jacuzzi natural donde las dos temperaturas se mezclan en la piscina similar a una cueva debajo de las cataratas.

Finca El Paraíso is one of Guatemala's most unusual and spectacular natural attractions: a hot thermal waterfall at around 55°C that plunges from a cliff into the cold waters of a jungle pool at the edge of Lake Izabal, Central America's largest lake. The result is a natural Jacuzzi effect where the two temperatures mix in the cave-like pool beneath the falls. The setting in the tropical lowlands of Izabal Department — with jungle-covered hillsides, howler monkeys, and the turquoise waters of Lake Izabal — makes this one of the most memorable hot spring experiences in Central America.
