GeoSea Geothermal Sea Baths

GeoSea abrió en agosto de 2018 en un acantilado sobre la bahía de Skjálfandi, en Húsavík, norte de Islandia. Sus piscinas infinitas se llenan con agua de mar rica en minerales, bombeada desde dos pozos geotérmicos costeros, que emerge naturalmente tibia en lugar de calentarse de forma convencional, con temperaturas reportadas entre 36-40°C (comúnmente citadas alrededor de 38-39°C). El lugar incluye una sala de vapor y un bar dentro del agua, con vistas hacia el Círculo Polar Ártico.

GeoSea opened in August 2018 on a cliffside above Skjálfandi Bay in Húsavík, North Iceland. Its infinity pools are filled with mineral-rich seawater pumped from two coastal geothermal boreholes, emerging naturally warm rather than being conventionally heated, at temperatures reported between 36-40°C (commonly cited around 38-39°C). The site includes a steam room and a swim-up bar, with views toward the Arctic Circle.
