Ichetucknee Springs State Park

El río Ichetucknee está alimentado por nueve manantiales identificados que mantienen un caudal claro y constante de 22°C a lo largo de sus casi 10 kilómetros entre bosque virgen. Es la experiencia de tubing por excelencia en Florida: los visitantes flotan entre una y tres horas según el punto de salida que elijan, junto a tortugas, garzas, nutrias y manatíes en aguas de claridad excepcional. El parque limita el número diario de visitantes para proteger el ecosistema.

The Ichetucknee River is fed by nine identified springs that maintain a perfectly clear, constant 22°C flow for its full six-mile length through old-growth forest. The river is arguably Florida's quintessential tubing experience: swimmers float for one to three hours depending on which takeout point they choose, drifting past turtles, herons, otters, and manatees in water of extraordinary clarity. The park limits daily visitor numbers to protect the ecosystem, so early arrival or advance planning is recommended in summer.
