Termas de Outariz

Termas de Outariz es una de las instalaciones termales más visitadas de Ourense, construida junto al río Miño en una ciudad gallega conocida desde antiguo como 'la ciudad del termalismo' por su abundancia de manantiales termales naturales. El agua geotérmica brota en el manantial a unos 60°C y alimenta catorce piscinas organizadas en dos circuitos: un circuito Zen de nueve piscinas de inspiración japonesa (onsen), y un circuito Celta de siete piscinas de piedra con aguas en movimiento, además de saunas y zonas de tratamiento. El complejo se inscribe en la larga tradición termal de Ourense, que se remonta a época romana en el conjunto de la ciudad, y hoy combina bienestar, arquitectura y paisaje fluvial en las afueras del centro urbano.

Termas de Outariz is one of Ourense's most visited thermal facilities, built along the Miño River in the Galician city long known as 'the city of thermalism' for its abundance of natural hot springs. Geothermal water rises at the source at roughly 60°C (140°F) and feeds fourteen pools arranged into two circuits: a Zen circuit of nine pools inspired by Japanese onsen design, and a Celtic circuit of seven stone-built pools with moving water, plus saunas and treatment areas. The complex draws on Ourense's long tradition of thermal bathing, which stretches back to Roman times in the wider city, and today combines wellness, architecture and riverside scenery on the outskirts of the city center.
