Terme Čatež

Terme Čatež se encuentra en el punto donde el río Krka desemboca en el Sava, en la región de Posavje, en el sureste de Eslovenia, sobre un campo de agua termal considerado uno de los mayores de su tipo en Europa. Once manantiales explotados alimentan el complejo, con temperaturas en el origen que oscilan ampliamente entre unos 41 y 62°C y un caudal combinado de alrededor de 125 litros por segundo, un rendimiento inusualmente alto que permite al complejo mantener en funcionamiento durante todo el año una de las mayores redes de piscinas interiores y exteriores del país. El agua presenta una débil radiactividad natural señalada en referencias balneológicas eslovenas. El turismo de tipo balneario aquí se remonta a 1925, cuando se construyó el primer hotel con 23 habitaciones junto a una zona de baño privada; desde entonces el complejo ha crecido hasta convertirse en lo que se describe ampliamente como el mayor destino termal natural de Eslovenia.

Terme Čatež sits where the Krka River meets the Sava, in the Posavje region of southeastern Slovenia, on a thermal water field considered one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Eleven developed springs feed the resort, with source temperatures reported across a wide range of roughly 41–62°C and a combined flow around 125 liters per second — an unusually large output that lets the complex run one of the country's biggest outdoor and indoor pool networks year-round. The water carries a weak natural radioactivity noted in Slovenian balneological references. Spa-style tourism here dates to 1925, when the first hotel with 23 rooms was built beside a private bathing area; the resort has since grown into what is widely described as Slovenia's largest natural spa destination.
