Whitmore Hot Springs

Whitmore Hot Springs is a free, county-operated warm spring pool located in the Long Valley Caldera south of Mammoth Lakes, in one of California's most geologically active regions. The pool draws spring water at around 40°C and offers simple outdoor soaking beneath the open Eastern Sierra sky. Mono County maintains the facility for public use, making it an accessible warm water option for visitors exploring the Mammoth Lakes area, Mono Lake, or the backcountry hot springs of the Owens Valley.
