Astoria Hot Springs

Astoria Hot Springs sits on the Snake River between Jackson and Hoback Junction, channeling 49°C geothermal water into pools that have attracted soakers since the early 20th century. After decades of closure and extensive environmental cleanup, the site reopened as a nonprofit community aquatic center. The setting beneath the Gros Ventre mountains with the Snake River nearby makes it one of Wyoming's most scenic soaking spots, especially as a warm-down after a day of skiing or hiking in Grand Teton country.
