Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa has been welcoming guests to its geothermal mineral pools on Harrison Lake since 1886, making it one of the oldest continuously operated hot spring resorts in Canada. The springs discharge at around 60°C and are cooled to comfortable bathing temperatures in the resort's outdoor pools. The resort's position at the head of Harrison Lake — a large, glacier-fed mountain lake an hour east of Vancouver — provides a remarkable combination of hot spring soaking and mountain lake scenery. The Harrison Valley is also known as a staging area for bald eagles during the annual salmon run.
