Hutlinana Hot Springs is one of the most remote thermal springs accessible in interior Alaska, reached by a 40-kilometre trail that is passable primarily in winter when the ground is frozen and the trail can be traveled by dog sled or snowmobile. The springs produce water at around 52°C from geothermal seeps in the subarctic forest and tundra terrain. The remoteness of the site means it sees only a handful of visitors annually, making it a true wilderness hot spring experience.
