Kolam Air Panas Bentong is a simple, free-to-use geothermal spring on the old road between Janda Baik and Bentong town, about 15–20 minutes from central Bentong and roughly an hour from Kuala Lumpur. It comprises two roadside stone-lined pools — a smaller, hotter upper pool fed directly from the spring source, and a larger, cooler lower pool mixed with runoff and rainwater. The site has been known since the British colonial era and was gradually developed into a public bathing facility by local authorities; today the Bentong Municipal Council maintains it, with only nominal charges for toilets and showers.
