The town's dozens of resorts, motels, and private spa facilities all draw from this thermal reservoir. The springs are naturally odorless, mineral-rich, and remarkably pure, giving the Desert Hot Springs pools a clarity that distinguishes them from sulfurous thermal springs. The San Jacinto and San Bernardino mountains frame the view from the desert floor.
