Termy Mszczonów

Mszczonów, una pequeña localidad del voivodato de Mazovia situada unos 40 km al suroeste de Varsovia, explota un profundo acuífero del Cretácico Inferior mediante un pozo de 1.602,5 metros de profundidad. El agua que llega a la superficie a 26–34°C tiene una salinidad llamativamente baja para un manantial geotérmico polaco, comercializada localmente como 'słodka woda termalna' (agua termal dulce), y se emplea tanto para calefactar edificios municipales como para abastecer el complejo de piscinas Termy Mszczonów, inaugurado al público el 28 de junio de 2008. Las instalaciones combinan baños geotérmicos con toboganes, gruta de sal, sauna y jacuzzi, y en invierno se transforman en pista de hielo, lo que la convierte en uno de los destinos geotérmicos de excursión de un día más accesibles para los residentes de la región de la capital.

Mszczonów, a small town in the Masovian Voivodeship roughly 40 km southwest of Warsaw, taps a deep Lower Cretaceous aquifer through a borehole reaching 1,602.5 metres. The water that reaches the surface at 26–34°C is distinctively low in salinity for a Polish geothermal source, marketed locally as 'słodka woda termalna' (sweet thermal water), and is used both to heat municipal buildings and to supply the Termy Mszczonów pool complex, which opened to the public on 28 June 2008. The facility combines geothermal bathing with slides, a salt grotto, sauna and jacuzzi, and doubles as a winter ice rink, making it one of the more accessible geothermal day-trip destinations for residents of the capital region.

ワルシャワの南西約40キロに位置するマゾフシェ県の小さな町ムシチョヌフでは、深さ1,602.5メートルの井戸を通じて下部白亜紀の深い帯水層を利用している。地表に達する水温は26〜34℃で、ポーランドの地熱水源としては珍しく塩分濃度が低く、地元では「スウォトカ・ヴォダ・テルマルナ(甘い温水)」として売り出されている。この水は町内の公共施設の暖房に使われるほか、2008年6月28日に一般公開された温泉プール施設「テルミ・ムシチョヌフ」にも供給されている。施設にはウォータースライダー、岩塩洞窟、サウナ、ジャグジーなどがあり、冬季にはスケートリンクにもなるため、首都圏住民にとって手軽に日帰りで訪れられる地熱温泉地の一つとなっている。
