Whitecap Alpine Sauna operates in the mountain environment of British Columbia's Sea-to-Sky Corridor — the dramatic coastal mountain zone between Vancouver and Whistler whose peaks, glaciers, and old-growth forests form one of the most spectacular landscapes in North America. The sauna is designed for the contrast experience: sustained heat in a cedar-panelled wood-fired structure followed by cold plunges in alpine streams or snow, and the cycle repeated as the body adjusts to the mountain altitude and cool air. The surrounding landscape of granite peaks, Douglas fir and cedar forest, and glacial meltwater channels creates a sauna setting of extraordinary natural power.

Los bosques del corredor Sea-to-Sky se gestionan conforme al Código de Prácticas Forestales de la Columbia Británica. Las saunas alpinas de la zona utilizan cedro local con certificación sostenible y queman madera local seca. La cercanía de arroyos de deshielo permite la inmersión fría sin necesidad de infraestructura hídrica alguna.
Sustainability
The Sea-to-Sky Corridor's forests are managed under BC's Forest Practices Code. Alpine sauna operations in the corridor use sustainably certified local cedar and burn dried local wood. Proximity to snowmelt streams provides cold plunge without any water infrastructure.
