Aqua Centre Jánské Lázně

Según la tradición local, el manantial templado de Jánské Lázně se descubrió en el año 1006, aunque su uso balneario documentado data del siglo XIV; el príncipe Johann Adolf I de Schwarzenberg construyó las primeras seis edificaciones junto al manantial en 1677. La piscina de rehabilitación de forma irregular del Aqua Centre, de 230 m², se llena con agua mineral a 27°C canalizada directamente desde los manantiales Janský y Černý dentro del recinto balneario, junto a jacuzzis cubiertos a 32°C. Situado a 519 metros de altitud dentro de la reserva de la biosfera UNESCO de los montes Krkonoše (Montañas Gigantes), el balneario se hizo internacionalmente conocido después de 1945 por el tratamiento de parálisis post-poliomielítica, y en 1981 construyó la clínica infantil de rehabilitación Vesna, que elevó la terapia con agua mineral de la localidad a estándares internacionales de atención pediátrica.

Jánské Lázně's warm spring was, by local tradition, found in 1006, though documented bathing use dates from the 14th century; Prince Johann Adolf I of Schwarzenberg built the first six spa structures at the spring in 1677. The Aqua Centre's irregular 230 m² rehabilitation pool is filled with mineral water at 27°C piped directly from the Janský and Černý springs within the spa grounds, alongside indoor whirlpools at 32°C. Sitting at 519 metres inside the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) UNESCO biosphere reserve, the spa became internationally known after 1945 for treating post-polio paralysis, and in 1981 built the Vesna children's rehabilitation clinic that brought the town's mineral-water therapy to international standards of paediatric care.

地元の伝承によればヤーンスケー・ラーズニェの温泉は1006年に発見されたとされるが、記録に残る入浴利用は14世紀に遡る。シュヴァルツェンベルク家のヨハン・アドルフ1世公が1677年に源泉のそばに最初の6棟の温泉施設を建てた。アクア・センターの不定形な230平方メートルのリハビリプールは、温泉敷地内のヤンスキー泉とチェルニー泉から直接引かれた27℃のミネラル水で満たされ、32℃の屋内ジェットバスも併設する。標高519メートル、ユネスコ生物圏保護区のクルコノシェ(巨人山脈)内に位置するこの温泉地は、1945年以降ポリオ後遺症の麻痺治療で国際的に知られるようになり、1981年には児童リハビリ施設ヴェスナを建設し、町のミネラルウォーター療法を国際水準の小児医療へと引き上げた。
