Los manantiales termales de Binh Chau están ubicados dentro de la Reserva Natural de Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu, a unos 140 kilómetros al este de Ciudad Ho Chi Minh. El agua geotérmica emerge a temperaturas de entre 37 °C en las piscinas superficiales y más de 82 °C en los veneros más calientes. El yacimiento se sitúa en el interior de un bosque costero protegido de dunas, humedales y jungla secundaria. La práctica de cocinar huevos y batatas directamente en el agua hirviente se ha convertido en una experiencia característica del lugar.
Binh Chau Hot Springs are set within the Binh Chau–Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, approximately 140 kilometres east of Ho Chi Minh City. Geothermal water emerges through sandy coastal soil at temperatures ranging from 37°C in shallow pools to over 82°C at the hottest vents — hot enough to cook an egg in about eight minutes. The springs sit within protected coastal forest, a remnant ecosystem of sand dunes, wetlands, and secondary jungle. A resort complex with cooled bathing pools operates alongside the natural vents. The practice of cooking eggs and sweet potatoes at the boiling springs has become a signature experience, connecting geothermal science to everyday Vietnamese culinary culture. The source of geothermal heat is linked to deep fault lines in the continental shelf geology of southern Vietnam.
