Mangatutu Hot Springs

Mangatutu Hot Springs es un sitio del Departamento de Conservación (DOC) en el parque forestal de Kaweka, en la región de Hawke's Bay, donde el agua termal brota de forma natural de un orificio en una ribera socavada y desciende por un talud hasta dos piscinas simples canalizadas. Se encuentra junto al río Mohaka, a unos 75 km al noroeste de Napier por los caminos Puketitiri y Makahu, con el tramo final sin pavimentar y un vado a unos 7,5 km del final del camino; se recomienda vehículo de tracción a las cuatro ruedas. No hay operador ni instalaciones en el lugar; funciona como punto de acceso del DOC para acampar, hacer pícnic y practicar senderismo.

Mangatutu Hot Springs is a Department of Conservation site in Kaweka Forest Park, Hawke's Bay, where thermal water issues naturally from a hole in an undercut riverbank and trickles down a bluff into two simple channelled pools. It sits beside the Mohaka River, about 75 km northwest of Napier via Puketitiri and Makahu Roads, with the final stretch on unsealed gravel and a river ford roughly 7.5 km from the road end — four-wheel drive is recommended. There is no operator or facility on site; it functions as a DOC camping, picnic, and tramping access point.

マンガトゥトゥ・ホットスプリングスは、ホークスベイ地方のカウェカ森林公園内にあるニュージーランド保全局(DOC)管理地で、削られた川岸の穴から温水が自然に湧き出し、崖を伝って2つの簡素な水路プールに流れ込む。モハカ川沿いに位置し、ネイピアから北西へ約75km、プケティティリ・ロードとマカフ・ロード経由でアクセスするが、最後の区間は未舗装の砂利道で、道の終点から約7.5kmの地点に川の渡渉がある。四輪駆動車が推奨される。現地に運営者や施設はなく、DOCのキャンプ・ピクニック・トランピングの拠点として機能している。
