Pong Arng Hot Springs

Pong Arng Hot Springs se encuentra dentro del Parque Nacional Pha Daeng, en el distrito de Chiang Dao, provincia de Chiang Mai, a unos 40 km al norte de la ciudad de Chiang Dao y a pocos kilómetros antes de la cascada Sri Sungwan, en la misma carretera del parque. Dos piscinas naturales de tierra con bordes de piedra contienen agua a aproximadamente 40°C y 64°C, y, a diferencia de otras fuentes cercanas, el agua está notablemente libre de olor a azufre. Una única entrada al parque cubre el acceso tanto a las aguas termales como a la cascada, y el sitio es una parada popular para quienes exploran la zona de Chiang Dao, especialmente en los meses más frescos, de noviembre a febrero.

Pong Arng Hot Springs sits inside Pha Daeng National Park in Chiang Mai's Chiang Dao District, about 40 km north of Chiang Dao town and a few kilometers before the Sri Sungwan Waterfall on the same park road. Two natural, stone-edged earthen pools hold water at roughly 40°C and 64°C, and unlike some nearby springs the water is notably free of sulphur odor. A single park entry fee covers access to both the hot springs and the waterfall, and the site is a popular stop for travelers exploring the Chiang Dao area, especially in the cooler months from November to February.

ポンアン温泉はチェンマイ県チェンダオ郡のパーデーン国立公園内に位置し、チェンダオの町から北へ約40km、同じ公園道路沿いにあるシースンワン滝の数キロ手前にある。石で縁取られた2つの天然の土製浴槽には、それぞれ約40℃と64℃の湯がたたえられており、近隣の他の温泉と異なりこの湯には硫黄臭がほとんどない。公園の入場料一つで温泉と滝の両方にアクセスでき、特に涼しい11月から2月にかけて、チェンダオ地域を巡る旅行者に人気の立ち寄りスポットとなっている。
