Sainokawara Rotenburo

Sainokawara Rotenburo es un baño al aire libre de unos 500 metros cuadrados en el parque Sainokawara, a unos 10-12 minutos a pie del campo termal central de Yubatake en Kusatsu, con capacidad para unas cien personas a la vez. Se alimenta del manantial Bandai, una de las fuentes de agua ácida de cloruro-sulfato de Kusatsu, con la temperatura más alta cerca de la entrada del agua y enfriándose a medida que se extiende por la piscina. El baño está separado por sexos, con una noche de baño mixto (se permite traje de baño) los viernes.

Sainokawara Rotenburo is a roughly 500-square-meter open-air bath in Sainokawara Park, about a 10-12 minute walk from Kusatsu's central Yubatake hot spring field, and can hold about one hundred bathers at once. It is fed by the Bandai spring, one of Kusatsu's sources of acidic chloride-sulfate water, with temperature running hottest near the inlet and cooling as it spreads through the pool. The bath is separated by gender, with a mixed-bathing evening (swimwear permitted) held on Fridays.

西の河原露天風呂は、草津の中心である湯畑から徒歩10~12分ほどの西の河原公園内にある、約500平方メートルの露天風呂で、一度に約100人が入浴できます。草津の源泉のひとつである酸性の硫酸塩・塩化物泉「万代源泉」を引いており、湯の投入口付近が最も熱く、プール内に広がるにつれて温度が下がっていきます。浴槽は男女別で、金曜の夜には水着着用可の混浴タイムが設けられています。
