Termas de S. Vicente

Termas de São Vicente se encuentra junto al valle del río Duero, cerca de Penafiel, en una parroquia que lleva el nombre del propio balneario. Las aguas, identificadas por primera vez por los romanos en el año 315 d.C., son sulfurosas sódicas, hipomineralizadas, alcalino-bicarbonatadas y fluoradas, y brotan a unos 18,5°C. El lugar conserva lo que se describe como los baños romanos mejor conservados del país, junto a un complejo moderno de balneoterapia y el Palace Hotel & Spa. Los tratamientos se centran en afecciones respiratorias y musculoesqueléticas.

Termas de São Vicente sits beside the Douro river valley near Penafiel, in a parish named after the spa itself. The waters, first identified by the Romans in 315 AD, are sodic sulphurous, hypomineralized, alkaline-bicarbonated and fluoridated, emerging at around 18.5°C. The site preserves what are described as the best-preserved Roman baths in the country, alongside a modern balneotherapy complex and Palace Hotel & Spa. Treatments focus on respiratory tract and musculoskeletal conditions.

テルマス・デ・サン・ヴィセンテは、ペナフィエル近郊のドウロ川流域に位置し、温泉にちなんで名付けられた教区にある。西暦315年にローマ人によって初めて発見されたこの水は、ナトリウム硫黄泉でミネラル含有量が低く、アルカリ性の重炭酸塩泉かつフッ素を含み、約18.5℃で湧出する。この地には国内で最も保存状態の良いローマ浴場跡とされる遺構があり、現代的な温泉療法施設とパレスホテル&スパが併設されている。治療は呼吸器系および筋骨格系の疾患を中心とする。
