Termy Uniejów

Uniejów, a orillas del río Warta en el voivodato de Łódź, es la ciudad geotérmica mejor consolidada del país, ya que aprovecha su agua termal subterránea para balneoterapia desde los años 90. El Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública certificó las propiedades curativas del agua del pozo PIG/AGH-2 en 2008, y en 2012 Uniejów y cuatro localidades vecinas recibieron oficialmente la condición de balneario por decreto gubernamental, la primera designación de este tipo basada en geotermia en Polonia. El agua, que abastece todo el año el complejo Termy Uniejów a 33°C en verano y 35°C en invierno, se describe en fuentes municipales y académicas como rica en azufre, flúor, yodo (en concentraciones comparables a las del mar Báltico), cloruros de cobre, hierro y ácido metasilícico. Los tratamientos ofrecidos se centran en afecciones ortopédicas, neurológicas, reumatológicas y dermatológicas.

Uniejów, on the Warta river in the Łódź Voivodeship, is the country's best-established geothermal town, having drawn on its underground thermal water for balneotherapy since the 1990s. The National Institute of Public Health certified the healing properties of water from the PIG/AGH-2 well in 2008, and in 2012 Uniejów and four surrounding villages received official spa-resort status by government decree — the first geothermally-based spa designation of its kind in Poland. The water, which supplies the Termy Uniejów complex year-round at 33°C in summer and 35°C in winter, is described in municipal and academic sources as containing sulphur, fluorine, iodine (at concentrations comparable to the Baltic Sea), copper chlorides, iron and metasilicic acid. Treatments offered focus on orthopedic, neurological, rheumatological and dermatological conditions.

ウッチ県のワルタ川沿いに位置するウニェユフは、1990年代から地下の温水をバルネオセラピー(温泉療法)に利用してきた、ポーランドで最も確立された地熱温泉町である。2008年には国立公衆衛生研究所がPIG/AGH-2号井の水の治療効果を認証し、2012年にはウニェユフと周辺4村が政府の政令により正式に温泉保養地の指定を受けた。これはポーランドで地熱を基盤とした初めての保養地指定である。この水は夏は33℃、冬は35℃で年間を通じて温泉施設「テルミ・ウニェユフ」に供給されており、自治体や学術資料によれば硫黄、フッ素、ヨウ素(バルト海に匹敵する濃度)、塩化銅、鉄、メタケイ酸を含むとされる。整形外科、神経系、リウマチ、皮膚科系の疾患に対する治療が提供されている。
