Tsurunoyu Onsen

Tsurunoyu Onsen es la posada termal más antigua de la zona de Nyuto Onsenkyo, al pie del monte Nyuto, con registros que se remontan a 1638, cuando servía de retiro al clan Akita. Conserva edificios de techo de paja y pasillos iluminados con farolillos, y ofrece cuatro baños de composición diferente, entre ellos el baño de azufre de agua lechosa llamado Shiroyu (agua blanca) y el más oscuro Kuroyu (agua negra). El nombre proviene de un relato local sobre un cazador que vio a una grulla curando sus heridas en el manantial.

Tsurunoyu Onsen is the oldest hot spring inn in the Nyuto Onsenkyo area at the foot of Mount Nyuto, with records dating to 1638 when it served as a retreat for the Akita clan. The inn retains thatched-roof buildings and lantern-lit corridors, and offers four baths of differing composition, including the milky-white sulfur bath known as Shiroyu (white water) and the darker Kuroyu (black water). The name comes from a local account of a hunter who saw a crane healing its wounds in the spring.

鶴の湯温泉は乳頭山の麓、乳頭温泉郷にある最も古い温泉宿で、1638年には秋田藩の湯治場として利用された記録が残る。茅葺き屋根の建物と提灯の灯る廊下が残り、白湯・黒湯など成分の異なる四つの湯を持つ。名前の由来は、猟師が傷を癒す鶴を見たという地元の言い伝えによる。
