Dripping Spring Hot Spring

Hot Springs, Arkansas is home to 47 natural hot springs that emerge from the western slope of Hot Springs Mountain at a constant 62°C, making it one of the geothermally active regions of the Ouachita Mountains. Dripping Spring is one of these preserved springs within Hot Springs National Park, where thermal water flows from a rock face in a wooded setting along Bathhouse Row. The springs have been used for bathing since prehistoric times, and Hot Springs became the first federally protected reservation in US history in 1832 — predating the national park system.
