Cypress Springs is one of the most pristine spring systems in Florida's Panhandle region, located in Washington County north of Vernon. The spring produces over 57 million litres of water per day at a constant 20°C from a large cavern opening in the Floridan Aquifer. The water is remarkably clear and turquoise-blue, and the spring run — a short, spring-fed stream — flows into Holmes Creek. A private campground manages access to the springs, which are accessible for swimming, tubing, and kayaking.
