East Lake Hot Springs

Los manantiales East Lake surgen a lo largo de la orilla este del lago East dentro del Monumento Nacional Volcánico Newberry al sur de Bend, Oregón. East Lake Hot Springs emerge along the eastern shoreline of East Lake within Newberry National Volcanic Monument south of Bend, Oregon. The springs seep through the floor of an ancient volcanic caldera, producing geothermal water at around 55°C that warms sections of the lakeshore. Visitors wade into the lake where spring water mixes with the cold lake water to create comfortable soaking temperatures. The crater lake setting, surrounded by volcanic rock and lodgepole pine forest, provides one of Oregon's most unusual hot spring experiences.
