Elkhorn Hot Springs

Elkhorn Hot Springs ocupa un valle boscoso en el Bosque Nacional Beaverhead-Deerlodge, ofreciendo piscinas geotérmicas al aire libre a altitudes superiores a los 2,000 metros. Elkhorn Hot Springs occupies a forested valley in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, offering outdoor geothermal pools at elevations above 2,000 metres. The springs discharge at around 40°C into two outdoor pools — one warm and one hot — surrounded by pines with mountain views in every direction. Historic cabins and lodge accommodations sit steps from the water, and the surrounding terrain offers hiking in summer and snowmobiling in winter. Its remote location keeps it far less crowded than Montana's more accessible hot spring destinations.
