Fish Lake Valley Hot Well

Fish Lake Valley Hot Well lies along Hot Ditch Road in the wide desert basin of Fish Lake Valley, Esmeralda County, Nevada, near the small community of Dyer. Mapped by OpenStreetMap contributors as a natural hot spring, it is one of the primitive, undeveloped soaking sites scattered through Nevada's Basin and Range hot-spring country, with source water commonly cited around 120°F (49°C) before it cools in an open-air pool. There are no facilities beyond the pool itself — no bathhouse, staff or admission fee — and access is via unpaved desert roads, consistent with the region's long tradition of free, self-managed hot springs on rural and public land.
