FORTYSEVEN Wellness-Therme se encuentra en el histórico recinto de baños 'Grosse Bäder' de Baden, y aprovecha el manantial termal Verenahof, cuya agua a 47°C da nombre al establecimiento y se describe localmente como el agua termal más mineralizada de Suiza. Los cerca de 20 manantiales termales de Baden, de entre 37 y 52°C, eran conocidos por los romanos como Aquae Helveticae y han atraído bañistas desde entonces, apreciados en el siglo XIX para tratar la gota y el reumatismo. Diseñado por el arquitecto Mario Botta, el complejo moderno abrió en 2021 con tres piscinas exteriores y cinco interiores, doce saunas y el espacio de relajación 'Kosmos' con diseño sonoro del músico Boris Blank.

FORTYSEVEN Wellness-Therme sits on Baden's historic 'Grosse Bäder' bathing grounds, tapping the Verenahof thermal spring, whose 47°C water gives the facility its name and is described locally as the most mineral-rich thermal water in Switzerland. Baden's roughly 20 thermal springs, ranging from 37 to 52°C, were known to the Romans as Aquae Helveticae and have drawn bathers ever since, later valued in the 19th century for treating gout and rheumatism. Designed by architect Mario Botta, the modern complex opened in 2021 with three outdoor and five indoor pools, twelve saunas, and the 'Kosmos' relaxation space with sound design by musician Boris Blank.
