Limes-Therme in Bad Gögging (part of Neustadt an der Donau, Lower Bavaria) draws on a sodium-hydrogencarbonate-chloride thermal spring found at roughly 650 m depth during drilling in May 1976; the therme opened in December 1979 with bathing water temperatures ranging 28–36°C. The site has Roman-era roots: excavations uncovered a Roman bathhouse (about 10.8 by 7.8 meters, with hypocaust heating) linked to the nearby fort Abusina, and Emperor Trajan is said to have had a bathing facility built here around 110 CE. The spa offers thermal water, sulfur water, and natural moor as three state-recognized natural healing resources.

Patrimonio
