Raspberry Hot Springs

Raspberry Hot Springs is located in a narrow canyon in the San Juan Mountains, accessible via a moderate trail from a forest road near Ouray. The springs produce water at around 45°C that collects in a series of rock-enclosed pools of varying temperatures depending on the mixing with the cold creek. The hike through the canyon passes dramatic cliff faces and mixed conifer forest before arriving at the soaking pools, which are entirely undeveloped and rely on visitors to maintain them.
