Sanadome

Sanadome es un balneario de bienestar termal en Nimega, Güeldres, construido en torno a dos fuentes subterráneas naturales propias y perforadas: una fuente termal de agua dulce a unos 70 metros de profundidad, y una fuente termal salina más concentrada, rica en yodo y hierro, extraída desde aproximadamente 700 metros. El agua brota de forma natural a unos 23°C, lo que la califica como auténtica agua termal, y luego se calienta para su uso en las piscinas interiores del complejo (hasta 37°C) y las exteriores (unos 33°C). La salmuera rica en minerales se clasifica, según los estándares alemanes de balnearios, como agua termal salina yodada, valorada por sus propiedades terapéuticas, y las instalaciones cuentan con la certificación Ecolabel Europeo que las reconoce como un balneario termal legítimo y no un simple complejo de piscinas climatizadas.

Sanadome is a thermal wellness resort in Nijmegen, Gelderland, built around two natural underground sources it drilled and owns: a freshwater thermal source reached at around 70 metres, and a saltier, iodine- and iron-rich thermal brine source drawn from roughly 700 metres. The water rises naturally at about 23°C, qualifying it as genuine thermal water, and is then warmed for use in the resort's indoor pools (up to 37°C) and outdoor pools (around 33°C). The mineral-rich brine is classified under German spa standards as an iodide-containing thermal saline water, valued for its therapeutic properties, and the facility holds a European Ecolabel certification recognizing it as a legitimate thermal spa rather than a standard heated pool complex.
