Termy Cieplickie

Cieplice, un distrito balneario de Jelenia Góra en las estribaciones de los Sudetes, alberga los manantiales minerales documentados más calientes de Polonia, mencionados por primera vez en una carta de 1281 y convertidos en un auténtico balneario por los monjes cistercienses de la cercana Krzeszów en el siglo XV. Ya en el siglo XVI las aguas atraían a pacientes de toda Europa, incluida la reina polaca Marie Casimire y la princesa Izabela Czartoryska. El agua, de tipo fluoro-silícico, tiene baja mineralización total pero es rica en compuestos de azufre, silicio y flúor; históricamente procedía de manantiales superficiales (Marysieńka, Sobieski, Nowe) y más tarde de dos pozos profundos: Cieplice-2 (661 m) y el mucho más profundo Cieplice-1 (2.002,5 m), que alcanza temperaturas de hasta 86°C, la más alta registrada en Polonia. El moderno parque acuático Termy Cieplickie, inaugurado en marzo de 2014 junto al histórico Park Zdrojowy, aprovecha este recurso y lo enfría hasta un rango de baño de 27–36°C en sus piscinas interiores y exteriores, pozas con géiseres y una piscina de corriente tipo río.

Cieplice, a spa district of Jelenia Góra in the Sudetes foothills, holds Poland's warmest documented mineral springs — first mentioned in a 1281 charter and developed into a proper health resort by Cistercian monks from nearby Krzeszów in the 15th century. By the 16th century the waters were drawing patients from across Europe, including Polish queen Marie Casimire and Princess Izabela Czartoryska. The fluoride-silicic water is low in overall mineralization but rich in sulphur, silicon and fluorine compounds, historically fed by shallow springs (Marysieńka, Sobieski, Nowe) and later by two deep boreholes: Cieplice-2 (661 m) and the much deeper Cieplice-1 (2,002.5 m), which reaches temperatures up to 86°C, the highest recorded anywhere in Poland. The modern Termy Cieplickie aquapark, opened in March 2014 beside the historic Park Zdrojowy, draws on this resource and cools it to a bathing range of 27–36°C across its indoor and outdoor pools, geyser basins and a river-style current pool.

スデーティ山脈の麓、イェレニャ・グラの温泉保養地区チェプリツェには、ポーランドで記録されている中で最も高温のミネラル泉がある。1281年の勅許状に初めて記載され、15世紀には近隣クシェショフのシトー会修道士によって本格的な保養地として整備された。16世紀にはポーランド王妃マリー・カジミェラやイザベラ・チャルトリスカ公女をはじめ、ヨーロッパ各地から療養客を集めた。この水はフッ素・ケイ酸型で全体のミネラル含有量は低いものの、硫黄・ケイ素・フッ素化合物を豊富に含む。かつては浅い泉源(マリシェンカ、ソビェスキ、ノヴェ)から、後には2本の深井戸から採水されるようになった。チェプリツェ2号井(661メートル)と、はるかに深いチェプリツェ1号井(2,002.5メートル)で、後者はポーランド国内最高となる86℃に達する。2014年3月に歴史ある公園「パルク・ズドロヨヴィ」のそばに開業した近代的なアクアパーク「テルミ・チェプリツキエ」はこの水源を利用し、屋内外のプール、間欠泉を模したプール、流水プールで27〜36℃の入浴適温まで冷却して提供している。
