Thermas dos Laranjais

Thermas dos Laranjais abrió en 1987 en Olímpia, estado de São Paulo, y se ha convertido en un parque de 300.000 metros cuadrados con más de 55 atracciones, clasificado como el parque acuático más visitado de América y el segundo más visitado del mundo en 2023, con más de dos millones de visitantes anuales. Su rasgo distintivo es el agua caliente en circulación procedente del Acuífero Guaraní, lo que lo convierte fundamentalmente en un destino de aguas termales y no en un parque acuático convencional. Una gran ampliación en 1997 añadió los primeros toboganes del parque, ampliando su atractivo más allá del relax termal puro para incluir atracciones de aventura para familias y adolescentes.

Thermas dos Laranjais opened in 1987 in Olímpia, São Paulo state, and has grown into a 300,000-square-metre park with more than 55 attractions, ranked as the most-visited water park in the Americas and the second most-visited in the world in 2023, drawing over two million visitors annually. Its defining feature is its circulating hot water drawn from the Guarani Aquifer, making it fundamentally a thermal-springs destination rather than a conventional water park. A major expansion in 1997 added the park's first water slides, broadening its appeal beyond pure thermal relaxation to include adventure attractions for families and teens.
