Granit Thermal and Adventure Bath (Zalakaros)

El complejo termal de Zalakaros (operado por Gránit Gyógyfürdő Zrt. y con la marca pública Zalakarosi Fürdő) se asienta sobre una de las fuentes termales más calientes de Hungría, descubierta en 1962 cuando una perforación de prospección petrolera dio con una fuente de 96°C. El desarrollo del balneario comenzó en 1965 y ha continuado en etapas desde entonces. El agua es alcalino-clorurada con carácter bicarbonatado y una combinación inusualmente rica de yodo, bromo, azufre y flúor, un perfil mineral que las fuentes locales describen como único en Europa. El complejo está oficialmente reconocido como agua medicinal certificada por las autoridades sanitarias húngaras.

The Zalakaros thermal bath complex (operated by Gránit Gyógyfürdő Zrt. and publicly branded Zalakarosi Fürdő) sits atop one of the hottest thermal sources in Hungary, discovered in 1962 when oil-prospecting drilling struck a 96°C source. Development of the bath began in 1965 and has continued in stages ever since. The water is alkaline-chloride with hydrogen-carbonate character and an unusually rich combination of iodine, bromine, sulphur, and fluoride, a mineral profile local sources describe as unique in Europe. The complex is officially recognized as a certified medicinal water site by Hungarian health authorities.

ザラカロシュ温泉施設(グラーニト・ジョジフュルドー社が運営し、一般には「ザラカロシ・フュルドー」として知られる)は、ハンガリー国内でも屈指の高温源泉の上に位置し、1962年に石油探査の掘削中に偶然96°Cの源泉が発見された。浴場の開発は1965年に始まり、以降段階的に継続されてきた。水質はアルカリ性塩化物泉で重炭酸泉の性質も併せ持ち、ヨウ素、臭素、硫黄、フッ素を異例なほど豊富に含む組み合わせが特徴で、地元の資料はこれをヨーロッパでも類を見ないミネラル組成と説明している。この施設はハンガリー保健当局により正式に認定医療用温泉として認められている。
