Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort ocupa los terrenos de una villa del siglo XIX que perteneció a la familia del poeta Giuseppe Giusti, cerca de Monsummano Terme, en la Toscana. Su elemento central es una gruta termal natural descubierta en 1849, descrita como la más grande de su tipo en Europa, con tres cámaras de temperatura progresivamente más alta apodadas Paraíso, Purgatorio e Infierno (28-34°C) y un lago termal subterráneo, Limbo, a una temperatura constante de 36°C. Se dice que el compositor Giuseppe Verdi calificó la gruta como 'la octava maravilla del mundo'.

Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort occupies the grounds of a 19th-century villa that once belonged to the family of poet Giuseppe Giusti, near Monsummano Terme in Tuscany. Its centerpiece is a natural thermal cave discovered in 1849, described as the largest of its kind in Europe, with three progressively warmer chambers nicknamed Paradise, Purgatory and Hell (28-34°C) and an underground thermal lake, Limbo, at a constant 36°C. Composer Giuseppe Verdi is said to have called the grotto 'the eighth wonder of the world.'
