Myoken Onsen

Myoken Onsen es una zona de aguas termales a orillas del río Amori en la ciudad de Kirishima, prefectura de Kagoshima, y la mayor del grupo de fuentes termales del valle de Shinkawa (Shinkawa Keikoku). Se encuentra a unos 15 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Kagoshima y ofrece alojamientos que van desde posadas sencillas hasta ryokan con baños privados al aire libre junto al río. El agua se clasifica como una fuente bicarbonatada de sodio, calcio y magnesio, apreciada localmente porque deja la piel suave. A lo largo del río, en la zona circundante de Myoken-Anraku Onsen-kyo, también hay varias fuentes termales silvestres sin desarrollar.

Myoken Onsen is a hot spring resort area along the Amori River in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and the largest of the hot springs in the Shinkawa Valley (Shinkawa Keikoku) group. It sits about 15 minutes by car from Kagoshima Airport and offers accommodations ranging from simple inns to ryokan with private open-air riverside baths. The water is classified as a sodium-calcium-magnesium bicarbonate spring, prized locally for leaving skin feeling smooth. Several undeveloped wild hot springs are also scattered along the river in the surrounding Myoken-Anraku Onsen-kyo area.

妙見温泉は、鹿児島県霧島市の天降川沿いに広がる温泉地で、新川渓谷温泉郷の中でも最大の温泉地である。鹿児島空港から車で約15分の場所にあり、簡素な宿から川沿いの露天風呂付き客室を備えた旅館まで、幅広い宿泊施設がある。泉質はナトリウム・カルシウム・マグネシウム-炭酸水素塩泉に分類され、肌をなめらかにすると地元で評価されている。周辺の妙見・安楽温泉郷エリアの川沿いには、未整備の野湯もいくつか点在している。
