Baranof Warm Springs

Baranof Warm Springs is located in a sheltered anchorage on the east coast of Baranof Island, accessible by boat from Sitka or through the protected waters of Warm Springs Bay. The spring produces water at around 38°C and flows into a Forest Service bathhouse with a private soaking tub. The bay setting is extraordinary — ringed by steep rainforest slopes and fed by a cascading waterfall, it is considered one of the most beautiful anchorages in Southeast Alaska. Charter boat tours from Sitka often include Baranof as a destination.
