White Sulphur Hot Springs

White Sulphur Hot Springs se encuentra en la remota costa occidental de la isla Baranof en el Bosque Nacional Tongass, accesible por un viaje en bote de 2 horas desde Sitka o en hidroavión. White Sulphur Hot Springs is located on the remote western coast of Baranof Island in the Tongass National Forest, accessible by a 2-hour boat trip from Sitka or by floatplane. A Forest Service cabin and hot spring bathhouse at around 60°C welcome visitors who make the journey through the waters of the Alexander Archipelago. The Baranof Island coast features dramatic rainforest scenery, brown bears, sea otters, and humpback whales visible from the approach by sea. The combination of accessible wilderness and quality geothermal facilities makes this one of Southeast Alaska's most prized backcountry destinations.
