Kantang Hot Spring Forest Park

Kantang Hot Spring Forest Park ocupa unas 500 rai de bosque pantanoso de turba y selva tropical dentro de los bosques nacionales de Khao Wang, Khuan Kaeng y Nam Rab, en la provincia de Trang, en el sur de Tailandia. Establecido por el Departamento Forestal Real en 2006, el parque canaliza su agua geotérmica natural hacia tres piscinas de hormigón con distintas temperaturas (entre unos 30-40°C y cerca de 70°C en la más caliente), además de salas de baño privadas y senderos cortos entre la selva circundante. Es una parada modesta de turismo de salud gestionada localmente, más que un resort, y es popular entre quienes viajan entre la ciudad de Trang y el muelle de Hat Yao.

Kantang Hot Spring Forest Park sits on roughly 500 rai of lowland peat-swamp and tropical forest spanning the Khao Wang, Khuan Kaeng and Nam Rab national forests in southern Thailand's Trang province. Established by the Royal Forest Department in 2006, the park channels its natural geothermal water into three managed concrete pools of varying temperature (reported from around 30-40°C up to roughly 70°C at the hottest), along with private bathing rooms and short nature trails through the surrounding rainforest. It is a modest, locally run health-tourism stop rather than a resort, popular with travelers passing between Trang town and the Hat Yao pier.

カンタン温泉フォレストパークは、タイ南部トラン県のカオワン、クワンケーン、ナムラップの国有林にまたがる約500ライ(約80ヘクタール)の低地泥炭湿地と熱帯林に位置する。2006年に王室林野局によって設立され、天然の地熱水を3つのコンクリート製浴槽(約30〜40℃から最も熱い浴槽で約70℃まで)に引き込んでいるほか、個室浴室や周囲の熱帯林を巡る短い自然歩道も整備されている。リゾートというより地元運営の質素な健康観光スポットで、トラン市街とハットヤオ桟橋を行き来する旅行者に人気がある。
