Mineralni Bani Thermal Springs

Mineralni Bani ('Baños Minerales') es un pueblo situado 18 kilómetros al oeste de Haskovo, construido en torno a un conjunto de 12 manantiales minerales que afloran al pie de los montes Ródope Orientales con una temperatura de origen de 48,5°C y un caudal de unos 35 litros por segundo. Su estatus como centro balneológico nacional refleja la química distintiva del agua, empleada localmente para tratar afecciones reumáticas, dermatológicas y ginecológicas. Las piscinas cubiertas y descubiertas, junto con una piscina olímpica en el parque central del pueblo, captan el agua mineral directamente de la fuente, lo que convierte a este lugar en uno de los destinos de baño más puramente alimentados por manantial entre los numerosos pueblos termales de los Ródope, en gran medida libre del desarrollo hotelero a gran escala que se observa en los balnearios más grandes de Bulgaria.

Mineralni Bani ('Mineral Baths') is a village 18 kilometres west of Haskovo, built around a cluster of 12 mineral springs that surface at the foot of the Eastern Rhodope mountains at a source temperature of 48.5°C, discharging roughly 35 litres per second. The resort's status as a national balneological centre reflects the water's distinctive chemistry, used locally for treating rheumatic, dermatological and gynaecological conditions. Indoor and outdoor pools operated alongside an Olympic-size pool in the village's central park draw the mineral water directly from source, making this one of the more purely spring-fed bathing destinations among the Rhodope's many thermal villages, largely free of the large-scale hotel development seen at Bulgaria's bigger spa towns.
